Turtle V2: Evolving Cross-Chain Token Transfers in the Polkadot Ecosystem

We are excited to announce the next major iteration of Turtle, our frictionless cross-chain token transfer app. Building on the foundation of our first release, Turtle V2 takes a significant leap forward in simplifying asset movement across the Polkadot ecosystem.

Abstracting Away the Complexity of Cross-Chain UX

In our first release, we provided the Polkadot ecosystem with an easy way of bringing Ethereum native assets into Polkadot, powered by Snowbridge, a light client bridge between Polkadot and Ethereum.

V2 goes even further, continuing to abstract away the intricate architectural complexities that have long been a barrier to creating truly seamless cross-chain user experiences on Polkadot.

Expanded Capabilities

Turtle V2 significantly expands our initial Ethereum <> Polkadot bridging approach:

• Direct bridging from Ethereum to multiple parachains, including Hydration, Bifrost, Moonbeam, and Mythos in one click.

• We added XCM support and enabled token flows between the most popular parachains and assets. We’ll be gradually adding more with the goal of providing a unified experience for anything related to token transfers in the ecosystem.

A New Strategic Partnership: ParaSpell Powers Turtle’s Backend

We’re proud to announce a collaboration with ParaSpell, who is powering Turtle’s backend with their robust XCM SDK. This partnership has allowed us to accelerate our product development and go-to-market strategy to build the seamless cross-chain experiences that we envision. Together, we’re working to make Turtle a success and expand the feature set that the ParaSpell SDK will provide to other builders like us.
